Who it’s for.

New businesses that need a name to look like a business from day one, and established ones still using a logo made in a hurry: one that blurs on a phone screen, disappears on a dark background or looks different on every flyer. If you’re about to spend money on signs, a van or a website, it’s worth getting the brand right first, because everything else is built on it.

What makes a logo work.

A good small-business logo passes a few plain tests, and we design against them:

  • It still reads at the size of a social media profile picture or a browser tab.
  • It works in one colour, for stamps, embroidery and cheap printing.
  • It works on light and dark backgrounds.
  • It’s simple enough that someone could describe it after seeing it once.

How it works.

We start with a conversation about your business, your customers and anything you already like or dislike. You get three logo concepts to choose from, then as many rounds of changes as it takes to get it right. Once you’re happy, we put together the colours, typefaces and a style guide, and send every file you need.

What to bring.

Your business name and what you do, who your customers are, two or three brands you like (from any industry) and why, and any colours you love or can’t stand. Tell us where the logo will appear too: a van, a shop sign, uniforms or mostly online. It changes what works.

Your files, explained.

  • SVG: the master copy. It scales to any size without going blurry, so it’s what sign makers and van wrappers want.
  • PNG: with a transparent background, for your website, social media and documents.
  • JPG: for anywhere that won’t take the others, such as some online forms.
  • The brand guide (PDF): your colours, fonts and rules, to hand to anyone who designs something for you.

Why a brand guide matters.

A logo on its own gets stretched, recoloured and redrawn by whoever makes your next sign or flyer. A short guide (which colours, which fonts, how much space around the logo, how you sound in writing) keeps everything consistent, and saves you explaining it every time. It’s also exactly what a printer or designer will ask for.

Brand first, then the website.

If you need a website too, doing the brand first means the site is built around it from day one. Pay-monthly websites start at £30 a month, and the brand work carries straight across: your colours and fonts go into the design, and the SVG logo stays sharp on every screen, from a phone to a shop’s display.

So there are no surprises later.

Trademark checks
Searching and registering a trademark isn’t part of the package. The UK Intellectual Property Office is the place to start.
Printing
You get the files; printing is up to you and your printer.

01 /Questions

Things people usually ask.

How many logo ideas do I get?

Three concepts to choose from, then unlimited revisions until you’re happy.

What does it cost?

£150, once. There’s no monthly fee for the Brand Package.

Are the revisions really unlimited?

Yes. We keep refining the logo until you’re happy with it.

How long does it take?

3 to 5 days, once we’ve had the first conversation.

What files do I get?

Your logo as PNG, SVG and JPG, social media variations, and a brand style guide as a PDF.

Do I need a brand guide if it’s just me?

It’s more useful than it sounds. The first time a printer, sign maker or friend helping with social media asks which orange you use, you send them one PDF instead of guessing.

Can I get a website at the same time?

Yes. The brand comes first, then a pay-monthly website from £30 a month is built around it.
