1. Who we are

Stockulate Ltd ("we", "our" or "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15893175). This policy explains how we handle your information when you visit stockulate.com, contact us, or use our services.

Our apps have their own privacy policies: Mossypips.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include, such as a phone number or business name.

When you become a client

• Contact details and business details
• The content and materials you send us for your website or project
• Payment information, processed securely by third-party payment providers

When you use the website health check

When you check a website with our free health check, we store the web address you entered, the results of the check and the time it ran, so the report link works. We don’t store your name, email address or IP address with the report. To stop the tool being overused, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for one hour to count how many checks you’ve run. It isn’t linked to any report.

When you visit the website

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without identifying you. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry
• To provide, support and bill for the services you have asked for
• To keep the website secure and working
• To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and we never sell your information.

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Vercel hosts this website.
• Resend delivers messages sent through our contact form to our inbox.
• Payment providers process client payments.
• Google receives the web address you check, to run its PageSpeed Insights test.
• Upstash stores health check reports, on servers in London.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies

This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer (for example, financial records).

Health check reports are deleted automatically after 90 days, and the hashed IP counts after one hour.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take care to keep what we hold to a minimum.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, or stop or limit how we use it
• Send your information to you or another organisation

Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

Our web and software services are for businesses and adults. Our apps for children are covered by their own policies, linked above.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update it here and change the date at the top.
